Free Little Library Kling Drive

Sorry to say we have been hit again by the same guy who took all the books that were replaced by the community. I am going to keep it empty for a while as it’s been 2 weeks since he was here last. Maybe I will stock it with one Bible opened to the 10 commandments 🤔. I’m so sad and frustrated by this. Thank you to all the wonderful people who restocked it the last time. I appreciate each of you for your kindness and caring hearts. I am just as sad for you because this happened to you all as well. I do have books to put in but am just holding off for now and ask you to as well. Maybe he will give up .

We have a free little library that we put up in our yard. Today someone came and completely emptied the entire thing. All the books for kids and adults are gone. Yes it’s free but the premise is that you take a book to read and or leave a book for someone else. Not take them all for yourself or to make money off of them. People in the neighborhood have been kind and share books for others but a lot of those books are ones I have purchased myself to share. So if you find yourself at a little library know that it’s not right for you to take them all. And know that the person who stewards that library is doing it as a gift of love to others. Don’t take advantage of that.

So apparently during all the cold and rain our little library while keeping books dry was also keeping people out when the door swelled! If you stopped by and weren’t able to get it open we apologize. It’s open now and the door is being worked on to make sure it opens and closes easily again! We will also be trading out some books for a newer selection in the next week or two! Hope to see you around. If there is an author you love or a book you would like to read let us know so we can keep a look out for those!
