Gratitude is what I feel right now. I cannot thank my family, campaign team, volunteers, donors, supporters, and all those that endorsed and voted for me enough. While this outcome is not the one we worked for, I am thankful for the democratic process which allowed me the right to run and the right of the people to decide who governs them. The voters of Ohio’s 6th district have been heard with their votes, and that should always be celebrated. My turn to lead as a State Senator has not come today, and I accept that and move forward towards another road, one that continues to fight for our most vulnerable. I congratulate my opponent and pray he leads with wisdom and compassion. I truly look forward to working with him and the rest of our legislature to improve outcomes for the children and families of Ohio! Thank you.

Today is the last day you can vote in the Republican primary. If you have your ballot, you’ll need to place it in the secure dropbox at the Montgomery County Board of Elections by 7:30pm today.
If you requested a ballot by the April 25th deadline, but have not received it, you can vote in-person at the Board of Elections until 7:30pm today. Please make your voice heard and send Selby to Senate!
