There will be a public hearing on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., to consider Zoning Case ZC 1-26, a request for approval of a preliminary plan and the rezoning of approximately 90 acres located at 8090 Dog Leg Road from R-1, Single-Family Residential District, to PD-1, Planned Residential District, for a 196-home residential development.

Happy Memorial Day from Butler Township. Today, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

The Butler Township Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Township Meeting Hall.

Sharing for anyone traveling this afternoon. Several roads are closed due to high water. Please slow down and avoid flooded roads. Stay safe everyone!

HIGH WATER ALERT! Several roads are currently closed due to excessive water levels. Affected areas include Little York Rd between Frederick Pk and Stoner Rd, Meeker Rd between Heathcliff Rd and Westfall Rd, and the intersection of Frederick Pike and Peter’s Road. Additional areas are also experiencing high water. Please exercise caution and avoid driving through flooded areas or around barricades. Emergency responders are actively engaged in multiple locations working to maintain community safety.
