The Butler Township Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Township Meeting Hall.

Sharing for anyone traveling this afternoon. Several roads are closed due to high water. Please slow down and avoid flooded roads. Stay safe everyone!

HIGH WATER ALERT! Several roads are currently closed due to excessive water levels. Affected areas include Little York Rd between Frederick Pk and Stoner Rd, Meeker Rd between Heathcliff Rd and Westfall Rd, and the intersection of Frederick Pike and Peter’s Road. Additional areas are also experiencing high water. Please exercise caution and avoid driving through flooded areas or around barricades. Emergency responders are actively engaged in multiple locations working to maintain community safety.

Butler Township is providing a FREE document shredding event for residents on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 8–11 AM at the Butler Government Center. The drive-up, contact-free service allows residents to securely dispose of personal documents, with on-site shredding provided by Shred-It!

This afternoon, the Township was proud to participate in a ribbon cutting celebrating the continued growth and success of Abbey Investment Services, LLC. / Thein Financial and Capstone Property Solutions at their prime location on N. Dixie Drive in Butler Township.

While these businesses are not new to our community, they have long been outstanding community supporters and valued partners. As they move forward under new partnerships and brands, we congratulate both organizations on this exciting new chapter and thank them for their years of dedication and support to our community.

We would also like to thank the Vandalia Butler Chamber of Commerce for facilitating today’s event and for their continued commitment to supporting local businesses.
