We want to thank Montgomery County Auditor Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith for attending our latest Board of Trustees meeting.

​As we enter a property reappraisal year, Auditor Keith provided our Board and residents with important information on how the process works and what to expect this summer. His office is committed to ensuring fair and equitable values for all property owners in our township.

This competitive, seasonal opportunity offers college students hands-on experience in local government, including exposure to public safety, zoning, economic development, and administration.

Interns will work directly with Township leadership, contribute to meaningful projects, and complete a capstone project focused on community impact.

​We were honored to have Montgomery County Treasurer John McManus join our most recent Board of Trustees meeting.

​Treasurer McManus met with the Board to discuss critical updates regarding county finances, property tax resources, and how his office is working to support the fiscal health of our community. We are currently reviewing updates to our Energy Aggregation Program, including pricing caps, oversight measures, and resident protections outlined in our proposed addendum .

The Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center will be participating in the Statewide Tornado Drill on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at 9:50AM and will last approximately 3 minutes. The drill is in addition to normal testing done monthly on the first Monday each month at noon.

The Regional Dispatch Center will be setting off the warning sirens for the following areas:

• Clayton
• German Township
• Germantown Township
• Harrison Township
• Jefferson Township
• Miamisburg
• Phillipsburg
• Trotwood
• Washington Township

Residents are reminded that outdoor warning sirens are intended to alert individuals who are outdoors to seek shelter and obtain additional information through reliable sources such as weather radios, local media, or trusted weather alert apps.

​We were happy to welcome two special guests to our most recent Board of Trustees meeting: Lori Kennedy, Montgomery County Recorder and Montgomery County Engineer Andrew Shahan, P.E., P.S.

​They shared some fantastic updates regarding ongoing projects and improvements happening throughout our township and across Montgomery County. It’s always great to see our county and township leaders working together to keep our community moving forward!
