The only time we trap raccoons is when they sneak into the traps we've set for cats (and cause destruction and chaos in the process). Our Animal Control Department cannot assist with wildlife calls. If you need help related to wildlife, here are some important contacts:

This guy was found running loose with another dog (brown with a red collar) in the area of April Trace/Mountain View Rd/Fern Valley. If these dogs are yours or you know who they belong to, please call 706-344-3232 so we can help get them home.

Did you know we help feed more than families?

We know that pets are family too, and we're proud to help ensure they don't go hungry.

🐾 Forsyth County: Food pantry clients can take their client card to the Humane Society of Forsyth County and receive up to one month's supply of pet food. This is available every month.

🐾 Dawson County: Through our partnership with the Dawson County Marshal's Office and the Dawson County Humane Society, pet food is available at our food pantry—and you do not have to be a pantry client to receive assistance.

🚨LOOSE LIVESTOCK ALERT🚨 Is anyone missing 2 horses and 4 mules near Holcomb Rd and Kelly Bridge Road? We have officers on scene trying to locate and secure the horses, but we need to know where they belong.
