Today, the Dawson Police Department proudly honors the incredible mothers who serve both their families and our community with strength, compassion, and dedication.

Behind every badge, radio, report, and long shift is a woman who continues to answer one of life’s greatest callings, being a mother. These women balance the responsibilities of protecting the citizens of Dawson while also nurturing, guiding, and supporting their own families at home.

Their commitment does not end when the uniform comes off. They serve with patience, sacrifice, resilience, and love every single day.

To all of the mothers of the Dawson Police Department, thank you for your unwavering service, your leadership, your compassion, and the countless sacrifices you make both at work and at home.

The Dawson Police Department appreciates the assistance of the public, surrounding agencies (Terrell County Sheriff Department, Terrell County Correction Dept., Calhoun County Sheriff Dept, Edison Police Dept, GSP Aviation Unit, GDC K-9, Lee County Sheriff Dept, Leesburg Police, and Georgia Emergency Search and Rescue), especially the assistance of everyone who shared information regarding this case.
At this time, Brandon is safe, and no further public assistance is needed.
