Come to find out, the road commission had placed warning barricades at the flooded area on Richfied road, but they were taken. They've been located this morning down the road.

Thank you to Diamond Excavating for letting me borrow some barrels to put up on Richfield Road by the flooded area. Not sure why the Road commission didn't think they were needed!

If your garbage is still out, The crews will be working as late as they can to get everything picked up. If they do not complete the collection tonight they will be back in the morning.

Update regarding a water main valve repair in front of the Eagles Club. I've received a call from a resident in Hunt Farm Estates about the need to boil water. The repairs were done after isolating the valve and then that section of water main was flushed before reopening the valve so there was no boil water notice or requirement. This is according to Genesee County Water & Waste services who we contract for maintenance of our water and sewer system.

Well we planned to grade Oak road yesterday morning, but the pending rain made us put it off. Can't grade then have a heavy rain come. So, now Oak road will be graded tomorrow (Saturday) morning. We are payment overtime for this Saturday work, so just hitting the worst section from Richfield to Clark Saturday. Monday morning the grader will start at Stanley and go south and get it graded from Richfield south to Potter.

I drive Oak road almost every day, so I know how terrible it is to drive it. If you can, use Henderson as an option. It is limestone, getting less traffic and holding up much better.

Well, if you've been on Oak road last night or today you know what a mess it is. I worked it out with the Road Commission last week to grade and chloride from Potter to Stanley today but the rain is pushing back the grading and chloride application to Wednesday. We hope the road will be dried out more and the grading will smooth it and allow it to firm up.
