Join us for community fun and important updates about the school at our next parent-led Pacific School Foundation meeting. We will meet on Tuesday, November 18th from 5:30-6:30pm at Companion Bakeshop, 2341 Mission St. in Santa Cruz. Attendance at our meetings has been growing and we are so grateful for the invaluable input and support. We can't run without YOU! See you there!

The ongoing government shutdown means that many people in our community are about to be without SNAP food benefits. Please donate food items and grocery gift cards (most needed), in our Second Harvest food bin located in the school office. Thank you!

We broke our all-time fundraising high for Drive for Schools - way to go, Pacific Elementary!

Drive for Schools has started! It is PSF's BIGGEST fundraiser of the year, covering school funding gaps to support the library, Life Lab, FoodLab, staff appreciation, and so much more. ✨

Our goal this year is $10K! We ALMOST topped our highest raise last year and know it is well within our reach this year.

Instructions and tickets went home last week. The deadline to turn them into the office is October 17th. In addition to all the awesome prizes purchasers can win from the Boardwalk, PSF will draw winners from all students who return their ticket envelopes.

Share with your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers - anyone! People love to support education and our little, happy, under-funded school can use all the support that it can get.

Hello fabulous Pacific community,
We would love to see you at our PSF meeting tonight, Tuesday, September 9th at 5:30pm at Abbott Square.

Please plan to arrive early to get parking (which is plentiful) and order anything that you might like to enjoy during our meeting. There is a wide variety of food, treats, and beverages available (both alcoholic and non), and the meeting will be a great opportunity to hear updates from Mr. Gross and PSF officers, get informed on upcoming events, and help us make decisions about important PSF business. The more voices that can be included in our decision-making processes, the better!

Does your family need a childcare safety plan?

Families, especially those with mixed-status, are encouraged to complete a free Childcare Safety Plan to ensure their children are cared for by someone they trust in case of unexpected separation. The plan includes forms to name a caregiver, provide key child information, and prepare for possible travel or guardianship, with local community organizations available to help families complete the packet and gather documents.
