I’m in favor of lowering or freezing property taxes, but we must increase taxation on individuals and corporations whose refusal to pay their fair share forces our cities to cut vital services to our families.

In Des Moines and in DC, the players in the ruling party are different but the playbook is the same. “Take-take-take from working people” and give it to your donors in the form of tax cuts, favorable policies and enriching legislation. We have the power to stop it. I urge you to use that power on November 3.
