Davenport High School Here at Davenport High School we are committed to teaching students the skills needed to achieve academic success as well as opportunities to showcase talents.

There is a new high school in northeast Polk County. Thanks to community input, we are Davenport High School, Home of the Broncos! We are located on 60 acres that was once a horse rescue. Our school will open its doors to students in the Fall of 2021. We are counting down to the day the community and our students will get to experience firsthand what our campus has to offer, the extraordinary twen

ty-first century design and the new world technology. Davenport High School will offer academic opportunities ranging from real world experiences, to post-secondary college coursework. Lots of extra and co-curricular activities alongside a dynamic arts program. Our commitment is to better prepare our students for a variety of life paths. Mr. Collier! 🏫✨

Mr. Collier began his education journey at Lake Gibson High School as a Reading Teacher and Department Head before finding his way to us here at Davenport, where he has served as our beloved Dean for the past 4 years.

Now, he’s stepping into an even bigger role and we couldn’t be more excited! 🙌

Whether you know him for his legendary collection of baseball caps 🧢 or his infectious positive attitude, one thing is for sure , Mr. Collier brings energy, dedication, and heart to everything he does.

We cannot wait to see all the amazing things he accomplishes in this new chapter. Davenport is so lucky to have you, Mr. Collier!
