As Foster Care Month comes to a close, I want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to the foster parents who open their homes and hearts every single day. Your patience, compassion, and commitment truly change lives.

Thank you to respite providers who step in to offer support, rest, and stability when it’s needed most—you are an essential part of the team.

And thank you to everyone who supports foster care in ways big and small—caseworkers, teachers, therapists, relatives, friends, and community members. It truly takes a village, and these children are stronger because of you.

This work is not always easy, but it is always meaningful. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

May is Foster Care Awareness Month 💙

Right now, there are children in our community who need safe, stable, and caring homes. Foster care isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present. It’s about showing up, offering support, and making a difference in a child’s life when they need it most.

Fostering may not be for everyone, but there are other ways to help!
