Thursday, September 10, was an exciting day for the Office of Career Readiness as internship students from all four district high schools gathered at DCIT to interview with local employers!

We are incredibly grateful to our business and community partners who shared their time and expertise to help our students take the next step toward gaining valuable workplace experience.

Mrs. Hardy's Digital Art & Design students are putting the Elements of Design into action! Students began their Elements of Design Cube Project by sketching original ideas, then recreated and refined their designs digitally in Adobe Illustrator.

They also learned how to use XPen drawing tablets, giving them more control and precision as they create artwork specific to each element of design.
It’s exciting to watch their ideas move from pencil and paper to polished digital artwork!
