I have now been in office for 12 months and remain strongly committed to the City of Darlington and the wonderful people here.

2020 was a real eye opener for me. I learned a great deal by jumping in, getting involved and listening to the people (thank you for all the calls and emails).

2021 is just getting started and I am excited to see where it takes our city. We have many projects that we are working on and I truly believe our city will continue to overcome past problems as we pull together to create a better community for us all.

Let’s make it a great year for Darlington.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
Howard J. Nettles

Good afternoon everyone.
We are beginning our week by asking for your continued support and commitment to get out and vote for me in the Runoff for the one remaining At Large seat on City Council.

We are really “down to the wire” here and the only way we can win this election is to get the good people of the city to vote for Howard Nettles ONE MORE TIME. If you will take just a few minutes this week you can vote early at the Voter Registration office between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Of course the actual Election Day is NOVEMBER 19th and you will just go to your normal voting location.

This runoff is so very important in so many ways. Your support will solidify the changes that began on November 5th and move our city into the direction so badly needed.

If you voted for me on Nov 5, PLEASE get out and continue your support one more time.

If you did not select me as a candidate or chose not to vote at all, I ask that you consider the current state of our city: are you willing to settle or do you want to see the changes so badly needed.

If you are ready to move forward (as the majority seems to be), I ask that you lend me your support and vote as soon as possible.

Again, as we witnessed Tuesday, my loss by only 3 votes tells us that EVERY VOTE COUNTS, so please tell everyone you know in the city.

Please let me know if you are going to vote so I can track the numbers as closely as possible...if you can message me that would be great.

I know everyone is ready to get through this election, but I am committed to serving this city and the good people who live and work here and I will not give up until we have THE WIN!

In your service,
Howard J.Nettles

Good afternoon everyone.

I am reaching out to let you know that I am going to be in a runoff for Darlington City Councils 3rd (remaining) At Large seat.

I was only 3 votes away from winning the seat (3rd place among 6 candidates) in this week’s election, which brings us to the runoff.

I cannot stress enough how important your continued support and VOTES are, especially NOW.

I have worked very hard to earn your confidence, respect and initial vote and will continue to do so.

My campaign still has momentum, but we need to keep it going and GET EVERYONE OUT TO VOTE before or on Tuesday, November 19.

This runoff is extremely important to not only me, but every citizen in the city of Darlington who is frustrated with some of our current representation and the direction the city is going.

We have had great success this week in getting the changes started and your vote for me will help further that success.

Please tell your family, neighbors, friends and anyone you speak with to get the word out and .....VOTE!

Howard NETTLES...

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19th.

Thank you again for your continued support,
Howard Nettles

I would like to thank everyone who is supporting me in my campaign for City Council. Your dedication is appreciated beyond words.

I would also like to commit to you that I will give back to the city and projects to be determined 50% of the salary I will earn as a Council member should I be elected.

The city is in need of support in so many ways and this is the least I can offer.

Again, thank you for your support. Get out and vote.

Tell your friends, neighbors and family to do the same and let’s make Darlington great again.

Most sincerely,
Howard J. Nettles
