Good morning!

Since we are not exactly built for cold weather—and with the recent temperature swings—we were a bit delayed in removing the holiday lights from the holly trees around the square. But as of this morning, the lights are officially down!

Over the next week, they’ll be checked, bagged, and stored for next season. A huge thank you to everyone who helped with this project! We’re excited for what’s ahead this year for the Beautification Board and can’t wait to continue making Darlington shine.

Stay tuned for more updates!

It was cold and breezy, but that didn’t stop the Beautification Board from taking down the holiday banners and snowflakes and replacing them with our everyday banners. If you look closely, you’ll notice the skyline featured on the banner showcases actual buildings in Darlington. Do you recognize which buildings these are? Let us know in the comments!
