Neighbors of all ages and abilities are invited to RUN FOR A REASON in The Community Fund’s 1.5-mile Timed Run/Walk or the 5-mile Timed Race on Sunday, September 20.

Join The Community Fund for an evening of Mahjong, light bites, and drinks. Every dollar raised supports The Community Fund's 2027 grant pool which funds local nonprofits that provide basic needs for families in Stamford, Norwalk, and Darien.

How Registration Works:

✨Registration is for tables of four, so now is the time to gather your three Mahjong-playing friends and have their information ready!
✨One person registers and pays for the full table of four and provides contact information for each of the three additional Mahjong table guests during registration.
✨Tables are limited, so be ready when registration opens tomorrow!

Each nonprofit funded by The Community Fund is thoroughly vetted by our Grant Review Committee and trained volunteers who ensure that our donors' contributions are allocated to make the greatest impact on local priorities. These grants are made possible by our generous donors.

Please join us in welcoming Kelly Phelps, our new Youth Program Manager! 💙

A longtime Darien resident and active community volunteer, Kelly brings years of experience in school administration, community partnerships, and family relations—and a deep commitment to supporting Darien’s young people.

Kelly got a firsthand look at The Community Fund’s impact this past spring as a Community Grant Volunteer, and we are so excited to now have her officially join our team!

In Kelly’s words: “The Community Fund’s youth programs are making a real difference in the lives of Darien’s young people. I’m excited to join this talented team to build on what they’ve created and help even more kids find their voice in our community.”
