Early voting for the primary has begun at the McIntosh County Election office in Darien. Most of us have made up our minds about the local races, but your ballot will contain a long list of choices for state offices, including US Senator, Governor, First District Representative, state Supreme Court judges and more. Know before you go. You have until May 19 to research and decide on all of them.

Statement on Georgia Supreme Court Endorsements
The stakes in this election could not be clearer.

The 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, and 14th Congressional District Republican Parties have come together in unity to endorse Justice Charles Bethel and Justice Sarah Warren for reelection to the Georgia Supreme Court.

This may be a nonpartisan race, but make no mistake, the future of Georgia’s judiciary is on the line.

Justices Bethel and Warren have proven that they understand their role. They interpret the law as it is written. They respect the Constitution. They decide cases based on facts and legal merit, not politics, pressure, or headlines.

On the other side, their opponents are being backed by Emily’s List, Fair Fight Action, the Fulton County Democrats, and well-funded activist networks from California, New York, and Washington, D.C. These groups are not investing in this race by accident. They want judges who will deliver outcomes they cannot achieve through the legislative process.

That is not how our system is supposed to work.

Georgia’s courts are not meant to be political weapons. They are meant to be a check, grounded in law, guided by principle, and trusted by the people.

We have already seen what happens when outside money and political agendas take over judicial races in states like Wisconsin. The result is a court system that becomes another front in partisan warfare.

Georgia cannot afford to go down that road.

This is the moment to stand up, pay attention, and take action. Talk to your friends. Talk to your neighbors. Make sure voters understand what is at stake.

When you go to the ballot box, remember the names Justice Charles Bethel and Justice Sarah Warren. Vote to keep Georgia’s Supreme Court fair, impartial, and faithful to the law.
