Dardanelle Fire Department The Dardanelle Fire Department has 20-25 members that protect the citizens of Dardanelle and surrounding area in mutual aid agreements.

The Dardanelle Fire Department serves a rural community of 4,745 (2010 census) residents in 6 square miles and is located 88 miles west of Little Rock.

Big Shout out to our Dispatchers of Yell County! We, first responders, could not do our job without the courageous and dedicated dispatchers we have in our county! I can't say enough about these guys! they are our lifeline in responding to incidents. Be sure to thank them for all they do!

DON’T DROWN TURN AROUND! Please be cautious with the flash flooding we are having. It doesn’t take much water to hydroplane or swift you away. Rescue crew have been out all night rescuing individuals. Your not only risking your welfare but those who volunteer as well!
