Bingo gets a workout! Friendship Circle is kicking off a 10-week Bingocize program with bingo, exercise, prizes, and fall prevention tips. (Yes, really. Bingo AND exercise!)
PLUS Fashion is officially in the building! Roni Wear Designs has opened its doors at Friendship Circle. Check out photos from the ribbon cutting and come see the new boutique for yourself!

Good Neighbor is celebrating! We’ve got birthday wishes, big smiles, and photos from a beautiful walk at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge.

Chester is helping you stretch your skills AND your muscles with upcoming Tech Support and Tai Chi programs.

Schoolhouse is living up to its name! Two upcoming programs will give you plenty of opportunities to learn something new, including a Leaders in Homecare presentation and a discussion of Absolution at Book Club.

And finally, your IRA may have a charitable superpower! Learn how a Qualified Charitable Distribution could help you support the causes you care about.

A little taste of what’s happening at SCS this week…

What do cucumber salad, watercolor paintings, volunteering, birthday celebrations, and taking control of chronic pain have in common?

They’re ALL in this week’s Friday Five!

At Good Neighbor, members learned about healthy eating and cooking with COSA Nutrition Consultant Danielle Burke, and got to taste a delicious cucumber salad at the end of the presentation!

At Schoolhouse, we’ve got an important watercolor class time correction (and a little inspiration for trying your own watercolor project at home).

We’re also looking ahead to fall and inviting YOU to find your place as an SCS volunteer. Whether you’d rather deliver meals, lend a hand inside a center, or share a special skill, there’s a place for you!

+ Next week we’re celebrating August birthdays at Chester and sharing information about COSA’s upcoming FREE Power Over Pain program for older adults living with chronic pain.
