Located on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, Daphne is perhaps most famous for being one of the few places in the world to experience the phenomenon known as a “Jubilee”. This event brings blue crabs, shrimp and fish into the shallow waters of the shoreline, just waiting to be scooped up by those waiting to fill their ice chests, thus giving us the title “The Jubilee City.” (This is the official page for the City of Daphne, Alabama.)

Earlier today, Mayor Robin LeJeune was happy to proclaim September 14, 2026 National Voter Registration Day in the City of Daphne! Accepting the proclamation were members of the League of Women Voters of the US Baldwin County Kit Robinson, Betsy Giannuzzi, Maggie Joffe, Betty Huff and Susan Pearce.

We had such a wonderful time with Symone French last Thursday for our first concert of the season! Thank you to everyone who joined us on a gorgeous day on the bay! ✨
