✅Must be in Brownsburg Fire Territory's response area
✅Must own your home (we cannot do rentals)
✅Must be a single family residence
✅We can only provide a limited number of alarms due to demand

Brownsburg Fire Territory is partnering with the Hendricks County Health Department, Hendricks County Emergency Management Agency, and Red Cross of Indiana for a "Smoke Alarm Blitz" on Saturday, September 19th. We will be installing and/or replacing smoke alarms in BFT's response area. Have a smoke alarm, but need the battery replaced? We can do that too! Hendricks EMA will be giving out free weather radios as well!

VECTOR CONTROL UPDATE: West Nile Virus activity has been confirmed in Hendricks County. We would like to encourage Hendricks County residents to take steps to protect themselves from West Nile Virus and other mosquito-borne diseases. For more information on mosquito control, known mosquito breeding grounds, signs and symptoms of West Nile Virus, visit https://www.cdc.gov/mosquitoes/mosquito-control/index.html.

Controlling mosquitoes outside of your home, its important to remove standing water where mosquitoes lay eggs. Items such as buckets, planters, toys, pools, birdbaths, flowerpot saucers, trash containers, and tires are items to keep in mind to clean once a week. 🔋 FREE Lithium-Ion Battery Safety Class 🔥

Lithium-ion batteries are everywhere. From phones and power tools to e-bikes, scooters, and other rechargeable devices. When they fail, they can create serious fire hazards.

Brownsburg Fire Territory is partnering with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and the Hendricks County Health Department to offer a FREE Lithium-Ion Battery Safety Class for our community.

Have some residential tires you really need to get rid of today? Head on down to Tire Amnesty Day at the Hendricks County 4H Fairgrounds and we’ll take them, free of charge! Vehicles can enter through Gate 5 to drop off tires until 1PM. This service is available to all Hendricks County residents through Health First Indiana funding. We hope to see you soon!
