Vesicular Stomatitis, an important viral disease of livestock is spreading closer to Arkansas. It can affect cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and horses causing ulcers in the mouth, feet and udder. It is also possible for people working with infected animals to become infected as well. Prompt diagnosis is imperative to stop the spread of this disease. I have attached a fact sheet with more information. If you have any animals showing symptoms, you should contact your veterinarian immediately. Click on the link below for more information.
