Hendricks County Republicans were proud to participate in the 2026 Indiana Republican State Convention in Fort Wayne this weekend.

Delegates from across Indiana gathered to nominate Republican candidates for statewide office, adopt the party platform, and prepare for the 2026 general election.

A highlight of the convention was the Hendricks County delegation continuing the longstanding tradition of signing the county marker. This year’s marker included signatures from Governor Mike Braun and First Lady Maureen Braun.

Congratulations to Republican nominees Daniel Elliott for State Treasurer, Elise Nieshalla for State Comptroller, and Max Engling for Secretary of State.

Another special moment was the opportunity to bring together current Hendricks County Chairman Philip Clay, former Hendricks County Chairmen Wes Bennett and Anne Engelhardt, and former Indiana Republican Party Chairman Erin Lucas. Their combined leadership reflects decades of service to the Republican Party and the continued strength of our organization here in Hendricks County.

This month we are rounding out our last of the Convention Candidate meet and greets. Tomorrow, we will hear from state comptroller Elise Nieshalla, Secretary of State Diego Morales, and candidate for Secretary of State Max Engling.

Delegates!

Here’s a quick reminder of a few events we have coming up this week!

Tonight, delegates have the chance to meet Max Engling in a private setting at a Hendricks County delegate’s home. Please RSVP to the email in the first picture to register.

On Saturday, we’ll team up with Boone County and other counties to officially host delegates and doughnuts! Come meet some of the candidates and connect with fellow delegates before we meet in Ft. Wayne!

🇺🇸 Join the Hendricks County Republican Party at the Amo Fish Fry Parade! 🚒🎣

We will once again have a Republican float in the 75th Annual Amo Fish Fry Festival Parade, and we invite our county-wide candidates, local elected officials, volunteers, precinct committeemen, and supporters to join us.

Whether you’d like to walk alongside the float or ride on it, we’d love to have you participate.

The Amo Fish Fry is one of Hendricks County’s great traditions and a wonderful opportunity to connect with our communities while supporting a local event that has brought families together for generations.

Today, we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States of America.

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy were secured through courage, sacrifice, and a willingness to serve something greater than oneself.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take a moment to honor those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry their memory forward. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

God bless our fallen heroes, their families, and the United States of America. 🇺🇸
