Thank you to Station 100 for providing their tanker for the day and additional Valley and East End members for participating to make the day a success!

The students are part of the Montour County EMA Co-Op, which started for the first time in August.

3 calls for service yesterday...

Crews assisted the Montour County Coroner and State Police with patient extrication and traffic control in the area of Roberts Lane.

Crews again assisted Montour County Coroner and State Police with patient extrication at the Danville Suites Hotel later in the evening.

Late at night, crews were dispatched to assist Bloomsburg FD with a multi alarm structure fire.

At 3:38 AM on May 14, 2026, Liberty Township Fire Company was dispatched to a residential structure fire on the 90 block of Mooresburg Road. All occupants were confirmed to be safely out upon arrival.

The first‑arriving engine made a fast knockdown on the main body of fire located on the first floor. Crews later located fire extension into the attic, requiring extensive overhaul and additional manpower to fully expose and extinguish hidden fire.
Approximately 4,500 gallons of water were used throughout suppression and overhaul operations.

Utility personnel were requested due to live electrical hazards, and the PSP Fire Marshal was contacted to investigate the cause of the fire. The American Red Cross is assisting four adults and one child who were displaced.
