Helmet cam footage from the vehicle fire earlier today. Quick work by R-97 crew with limited manpower. As always our CAFS system helps us keep water usage down to a minimum.

Rescue 97 and Engine 103 responded to this vehicle accident today around 1615 hours. Initial reports said entrapment with a vehicle in the woods on its roof. It was then reported on fire. Chief 90 arrived on scene and reported everyone out with a vehicle on fire in the woods. Rescue 97 crew deployed a handline and directed traffic around the incident. Engine 103 crew prepared to supply R97 if needed and assisted with overhaul.

Station 90 and 100 units just cleared a tractor trailer accident on I-80 in the area of the 219 East mile marker. Crews mitigated any hazards and directed traffic past the incident. I-80 East at the 254 interchange will remain closed for an extended period of time for cleanup. 8 members responded.

While the nasty rain storm yesterday came through the area, crews responded to a 3 vehicle accident on I-80 EB at mile marker 217. Crews shifted traffic over to one lane and cleaned up some debris. Station 100 assisted on scene.

Crews were dispatched to an auto accident on Friday at the 218 mile marker of I-80 West. 3 vehicles involved with one dump truck on its side. Due to debris in the roadway, personnel moved traffic to one lane. Our handy kiddie pool played a huge role in preventing diesel from further soaking into the ground. Assisted on scene were Liberty Township, Geisinger EMS, Montour EMA, DFP, PennDOT, and Eagle Hazmat.
