We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Montour County Law Enforcement 5K and to all who attended the Heroes Ball on March 28, 2026. Because of your support, we were able to raise an incredible $2,694.88 to donate to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Your generosity and participation made this all possible, and we truly appreciate each and every one of you. We couldn’t have done it without you!

The Mahoning Township Police Officers Association participated in No-Shave November to raise funds in support of the Pennsylvania SPCA Law Enforcement Division, which works diligently to combat animal cruelty across the Commonwealth. The PSPCA does not receive any government funding for their life saving work and relies completely on private donations and grants. As part of this initiative, Officer Ketchem presented Lieutenant Jennifer Nields, Humane Law Enforcement Officer, with a donation.

Pictured with Officer Ketchem and Lieutenant Nields are Nova, a four-year-old pit bull terrier, and Dream, a 13-year-old quarter horse cross mare. Both animals were rescued from abusive environments and are currently available for adoption through the Danville SPCA.

The Mahoning Township Police Department is proud to support organizations that protect those who cannot protect themselves.
