Looking for support after a sudden loss?

Thomas Beaver Free Library hosts a free monthly peer support group for adults grieving the sudden loss of a loved one. The group offers a safe, gentle space to process grief, connect with others, and feel less alone.

This month’s meeting is Thursday from 6:30–8:00 PM at the library. No registration required.

The Summer Reading Challenge is off to a great start. There are 144 people signed up, and 51 readers are already actively logging minutes. The adults have a slight advantage in minutes read, but now that school is out, the kids can definitely close the gap. There is still plenty of time to register. Summer Reading adventures are coming soon to the Thomas Beaver Free Library! Get ready to unearth dino-mite books and stories that never go extinct.

Registration is now open! Readers can track minutes from June 1 through August 7, earn badges, complete activities, write reviews, and collect entries for a chance to win prizes.

Learning Den is open to all families this summer! Join us tomorrow from 10 AM–Noon downstairs in the community room for a free, drop-in space to explore, play, create, and connect.

No sign up, no cost. We’d love to see you there!

Thomas Beaver Free Library will be closed tomorrow, Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day.

We pause to remember lives lost in war and the lasting grief of conflict. We hope everyone has a peaceful weekend.

We will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday.
