Taking time to rest and relax is important for my health and well-being, for it renews my mind, body, and spirit. To relax, I may take a day off from work, stroll the neighborhood, read a book, or enjoy time with friends. Whatever I choose, I make well-being a priority.

I let my mind rest and focus on being present in the moment. I breathe in the fresh air, feeling it energize me. I notice the blessings around and within me, and I adopt an attitude of gratitude.

Relaxing allows me to release physical tension and mental stress. I am conscious of a new vitality and aware of my ability to be more present to what is important in life.

Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even in plowing time and in harvest time you shall rest.—Exodus 34:21

The world may identify me with a label, such as parent or child, wife or husband, employee or manager. Each label is only a descriptor of a role I play. It is not who I am. I am more than my duties or responsibilities, more than my gender, more than my position in life. I am a spiritual being—special and unique—one of a kind.

I embrace who I am in body, mind, and spirit. I watch for self-judgment or self-criticism that hinder my divine expression. By being who I am, I make a valuable contribution to the world around me. I am confident of my divine gifts, and I share them generously. I accept and give thanks for my uniqueness, recognize my special qualities, and shine my light brightly.

Each has a particular gift from God, one having one kind and another a different kind.—1 Corinthians 7:7

Through spiritual practice, I seek to know and realize the consciousness of freedom and peace. In my daily meditation, I release all concerns and cares and relax in the Silence and oneness of Spirit. I am free and fulfilled. All is well.

Throughout the day, I recall the feeling of freedom by pausing, taking a deep breath, and revisiting the Silence. This practice helps me open to the freedom of Spirit, to guidance, and to the flow of divine ideas. I release any anxiety and align my thoughts with positive, unlimited possibilities. I am free.

I want you to be free from anxieties.–1 Corinthians 7:32

Rest is essential for achieving excellence in my work and relationships. To be at my best, I must have energy, enthusiasm, and a clear head. Being tired or frazzled reminds me that it is time to recharge my batteries.

When in need of rest, I turn to the restorative power of the Silence. I begin by simply placing my attention on my breath. I set aside any concerns, responsibilities, or tasks, and reconnect with the calm and loving energy of Spirit. As I close my eyes, I become aware of my body and relax each part of it, from my head to my toes. I surrender all of me to the Silence. Its power restores me—body, mind, and soul. I am rested and refreshed.

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.—Matthew 11:28

I have hidden stores of power and energy deep within me. When I face an obstacle, I reach inward to access the divine power of God that supplies my every need.

Like the wind, which can blow with great power and force yet remain unseen, the energy in me may not be visible, yet it is strong, vibrant, and ever-present. Through the power of God within, I am capable of accomplishing great things. As I learn to rely on this power, I unleash my full potential.

I am eternally connected with my power source. It is divine, it is the energy of the universe, and it is unstoppable. I am this divine energy, and I cannot fail.

Then Jesus called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.—Luke 9:1-2

It may seem that a situation is impossible, or a problem is unsolvable, but I know that with God, the impossible becomes possible.

As I open my heart and mind to the presence of God, I grow in awareness of the divine potential that is present in all of life. The Presence transcends any appearance of lack or limitation.

I connect with God in prayer and meditation, where the fullness of life becomes clear. My imagination and faith allow me to see possibilities beyond outer appearances. My wisdom and will empower me to realize and manifest new possibilities.

At one with the divine Presence, I embrace my unlimited potential. Right outcomes are coming to fruition.

For God all things are possible.—Matthew 19:2

The love of God within me is the source of my unwavering faith. No matter what is happening in my life, the love of God enables me to see past appearances to the potential for transformation—within myself, within those around me, and within every situation.

Faith in the power of divine love changes my heart and mind at depth. As I express God’s love, I begin to see something new unfolding. A new pattern is emerging to bless and support me and my loved ones.

As I progress on my spiritual path, I realize nothing is more powerful than the love of God in the human heart. Through my faith in this love, I am whole, prosperous, wise, and at peace.

For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to you.—Psalm 26:3

Like the eye of a storm, the center of my being is a place of peace and quiet. I turn to this inner sanctuary any time I need to go apart from the world. In this sacred space, nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul.

In moments of prayer and meditation, I focus on the light within me. By gently turning within, I can achieve serenity anywhere, at any time.

I am filled with the love of God. I feel the strength, wisdom, and light of God enfold me and prepare me for what’s ahead. I center myself with a simple inhale and exhale, and I rest in the awareness that God and I are one.

God is my assurance that all is well. I am at peace.Live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.—2 Corinthians 13:11

When I take on a new creative enterprise, I do so with the finished product clearly in mind. I start with a vision, make a plan, and gather the tools. I waste no energy worrying how the process will unfold. I proceed with intention and confidence. When I focus on what I am doing, the steps follow in divine order to create the results I envision.

Life is a cocreative process. At one with Spirit, I affirm a life filled with loving relationships, abundant blessings, health, and wholeness.

Monitoring my thoughts and words, I gently let any discouragement pass me by. I stay focused on my intentions, and the results unfold in divine order.

You have made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting.—Psalm 104:19
