We're hatching baby chicks here at the library this summer! Why? Well, as the Smithsonian Magazine says "The closest living relatives of Tyrannosaurus rex are birds such as chickens."

Over the next few weeks, we'll be watching these eggs closely as we wait for our tiny dinosaurs 🐣 to arrive.

Summer Reading registration is officially open! ☀️📚🦖🦕

You can register in person at the library or online at dplindiana.org. Once you’re registered, stop by the library to pick up your summer reading materials and get ready for a summer full of fun.

The adventure officially begins June 1st, and we’ll be digging into stories, exploring new ideas, creating, discovering, and making memories all summer long.
