From October 1–15, 2025, BISSELL Pet Foundation is partnering with 300 shelters in 38 states to bring adoption fees down to just $70 or less! 🐾

Right now, shelters across the country are going through a tough time—intakes are high, kennels are crowded, and pets are waiting. Your choice to adopt makes space and saves lives. 💙

Flu shot clinics have begun! The Vermilion County Health Department is hosting drive through clinics.

Here are the following dates and times for the 2025 clinics:

Thursday, September 25, 1:00-3:00pm
Saturday, September 27, 9:00-11:00am
Monday, September 29, 3:00-5:00pm
Tuesday, September 30, 9:00-11:00am
Thursday, October 9, 9:00-11:00am

Walk-ins for flu shots are welcome Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

Pneumonia shots are available by appointment.

The VC Health Department is located at 200 S College St, Danville, IL 61832

For questions, you may call 217-431-2662 x 249.

The Health Department will bill Medicare, private insurance, Medicaid, and the State for state employees. Please have your insurance cards and ID's available when attending the clinic.
