🚒 Every second counts in an emergency.

Please consider adopting the fire hydrant closest to your home or business this winter. If you’re able, shovel at least 3 feet around the hydrant and clear a path to the street. Quick access can make all the difference when firefighters respond.

Thank you to this resident on Overlook Drive who understands the importance of keeping hydrants clear. Your efforts help protect the entire community. 👏

🚨Winter Storm Update❄️ Although the storm is easing, conditions remain hazardous. Governor Healey has declared a State of Emergency, and cleanup will take time. Please stay home and off the roads so crews can work safely.

🚗Parking ban remains in effect.
✅ Town Offices, Library, Senior Center, and Danvers Public Schools will remain closed through Tuesday, February 24. Conduct business and reach Town staff online via the link below.
♻️Trash and recycling will be picked up tomorrow on a delayed schedule

Danvers Crews Are Ready for the Storm!

Danvers crews are fully prepared as tomorrow's Nor’easter moves into the region. Our Division's are standing by and closely monitoring conditions to respond quickly to any weather-related outages or electrical issues that may arise.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep our roadways and power safe and reliable for all Danvers residents.

❗Reporting Downed Trees/Limbs:
- Contact the Danvers Department of Public Works at 978-777-0001 x3011 during normal business hours (including Thursday until 7:00 p.m.).
- For after-hours emergencies, please contact the Danvers Police Department at (978) 774-1213 or dial 9-1-1.

❗Reporting Downed Power Lines:
- Contact the Danvers Electric Division at 978-774-0005 x1 during normal business hours (including Thursday until 5:30 p.m.).
- For after-hours emergencies, please contact the Danvers Police Department at (978) 774-1213 or dial 9-1-1.

The Danvers Department of Public Works has declared that a Winter Parking Ban will be in effect as of 3:00 pm today Sunday, February 22. This ban prohibits on-street parking throughout the Town at any time. This ban will remain in effect until all winter operations related to the coming storm are completed. The Danvers DPW will notify you when the ban has ended.
