Our September monthly evening meeting was filled with fun, fellowship, and a few wonderful surprises. We were delighted to welcome and install our newest member, Wendy Ambrose, sponsored by Joe Flaherty.

Members also enjoyed working together to place Kiwanis logo stickers on the remaining construction hats for the Touch-a-Truck event at Endicott Park on September 12. In total, 1,500 hats were prepared for the event. A special thank-you goes to Diane and Kay for taking the time to sticker so many of the hats on their own.

Adding to the evening, State Representative Sally Kerans presented Club Secretary Kay Maurice with a special citation honoring her lifetime membership in the club.

The Danvers Kiwanis Club was honored to support such a beautiful, student-led project. The Colleen Ritzer Library is a beautiful tribute to an amazing person whose life continues to inspire so many. We are proud to have been a part of this special project and to help honor Colleen’s memory. 💙

Club Treasure and Past President Diane proudly presented Club Secretary and Past President Kay with her Lifetime Membership Award. This honor, given by the Danvers Club, recognizes Kay’s unwavering dedication, exceptional support, and the guidance she has generously offered to the club and to every president throughout their term.

Kay’s commitment has strengthened the club year after year, and this Lifetime Membership celebrates the lasting impact she has made on our community.

What an incredible DCON weekend filled with leadership, celebration, and fellowship! 💙✨

Saturday nights event centered around Governor Adam, whose presence, guidance, and leadership set the tone for the entire weekend. His dedication to the district and his commitment to service were felt in every room and every moment.

We were also thrilled to see Lt. Governor Dan wrapping up his term, joined by his wife and fellow club member Janet. Dan’s impact on his clubs has been tremendous — his steady support, encouragement, and hands‑on leadership strengthened every club he worked with and left a lasting mark on the division.

Our Club President and District PR Chair, Gayla, brought amazing energy to the weekend by teaching her branding class. Her passion for helping clubs elevate their identity and outreach inspired everyone who attended.

All were present for the House of Delegates as we voted for our next Governor Elect. Congratulations to Lindy Falconer on her election win.

We wrapped up the weekend with Governor Karl’s night on Saturday. He introduced his board for the upcoming year also giving his vision for the path of the district. A lively evening full of celebration, fellowship, and the true spirit of service.

So grateful for every leader, every moment, and the shared commitment that made this DCON unforgettable. 💛🙌

Today, Danvers Kiwanis Treasurer Diane Brinkley stopped by the DCAT studio to present the Danvers Kiwanis Club sponsorship check in support of DCAT's 25th Anniversary Celebration, taking place on September 24th.

The check was received by DCAT Executive Director Greg Dolan and Underwriting Coordinator Gayla Bartlett. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Danvers Kiwanis Club and their commitment to strengthening our community.

Today we had the pleasure of officially installing our newest member, Bill Beers, into the Danvers Kiwanis Club.

We enjoyed getting to know Bill and learning about his incredible Kiwanis journey. His dedication to service has touched communities across the country and around the world. Bill has been an active member of Kiwanis clubs at:
