Wagner Communities That Care (CTC) partnered with the Southeastern Prevention Resource Center to provide Naloxone to the Dante Fire Department. Connie Kaufman, RN representing Wagner CTC provided education on what opioids are, recognizing the signs of an overdose, how Naloxone works, and how to properly administer it.
Thank you to the Dante Fire Department for helping keep our communities safe!

Saturday is currently in the Very High Category so it appears it will last through next few days.

If u have burned recently, you are the one responsible for monitoring it. If things start to get worse, Call 911.

Wildland Fire Certification Training
Over the past 2½ days, firefighters from Avon, Geddes, Springfield, Wagner, and Dante came together to complete 20+ hours of Wildland Fire Certification Training.
A total of 15 firefighters participated in the class, learning critical skills used to fight grass and wildland fires — from fire behavior and safety to strategies used to protect land, homes, and communities.
Trainings like this are a great reminder of how departments work together across communities. When a call comes in, it often takes multiple departments responding and working side by side.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend and continue improving their skills to better serve and protect our area.
