Madison County 4-H’ers had an absolute blast at Wahsega Fun Day yesterday! 🌞🐻
We loved reconnecting with counselors, participating in a variety of fun classes, and making memories with friends from across the district. It was the perfect way to kick off our summer of learning, adventure, and fun!
We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store! ☀️🍀🎉

Now is a great time to get your hay sampled and tested.

Knowing the quality of your hay is essential for making sound livestock feeding decisions. A forage test can help determine protein and energy levels, improve ration balancing, and potentially reduce supplementation costs.
Your ANR Extension Agent can also come out and collect hay samples for you to ensure proper, representative sampling from each cutting or lot.

If you don't test, it's just a guess!

🧊 A few simple food storage habits can go a long way in keeping food fresh, safe, and out of the trash!

Keep leafy greens refrigerated, store certain fruits separately, and be sure to use leftovers within a few days. Small changes in how you store food can help reduce waste and save money. 🍎🥬🥡
