Update for the MC / Hull area:

It is our understanding that this is a legitimate company named Aqua World. It was originally understood that they’re making statements that the MC Water Dept has them in the area. Seems to be a sales tactic or a complete misunderstanding due to some language barriers. MC Water Dept. and MC Gov. has no affiliation.

We have made contact with the management of this company and they are selling water filtration systems door to door. Seems to be a legit company with decent reviews on their website from what we can tell.

As always I would suggest getting multiple quotes and never allow anyone to coerce you into a purchase.

As always if you need us please call!! Stay Safe MC!!!

*********************************

Attn: Bedford Drive Area/Hull area.

We have been notified of a Hispanic female going door to door and stating they're there demanding a water sample for the MC Water Dept. The MC WATER DEPT will NEVER do this. We have Deputies searching the area for the female. If you have contact with this person, please call 911 and give MC dispatch a location and description of the vehicle and lady.

We know the lady is demanding money to cover a fine for a health violation for contaminated water.

Please stay safe and check on the elderly who may not see the warnings and are potential victims.
