Friends of Assisi Food Pantry Helping those in need of food in the Killingly area Friends of Assisi Food Pantry has been serving those in need in the Killingly area for over 30 years.

We rely on the kindness of others with generous donations of food and monetary gifts, along with eggs and produce from our local farmers. We are named after St. Francis of Assisi. This year will be our 31st year of serving Thanksgiving baskets to those in need. Our first year we helped 25 families. Last Thanksgiving it was closer to 378 baskets.

Another free yoga class put on by Shelby and killingly Parks and rec. Just bring some shampoo or deodorant or some food and you’re all set . A lovely gentle class.

We are excited to announce a new Community Yoga Pop-Up Class!

Please join our instructor Shelby as she partners with our friends at Friends of Assisi Food Pantry. There is no set fee to attend, simply give what you can (food items, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, women's sanitary items, etc...)

Classes will be held inside the stage at Owen Bell Park.

Tuesday 7/28 - 6-7pm
Saturday 8/1 - 9-10am
Tuesday 8/11 - 6-7pm
Saturday 8/15 - 9-10am

Even if you can't donate anything please feel free to join the classes. Open to any and all experienced yoga participants! There is no registration needed just show up (sign a waiver) and start your class!
