One week down! Our Summer Reading kiddos cracked open dinosaur eggs, created dinosaur footprint suncatchers and conducted their own paleontological dig on our patio. We even had two surprise dinosaur guests!

Our summer programming kicks off tomorrow with a special walking tour led by local historian Bob Jarnagin! We’ll meet at the library at 11am, explore Dandridge from the ground up and wind up back at the library afterward for light refreshments. All ages are welcome, but this program is geared toward adults.

This is what our new library building site looks like now, but not for long! Equipment will start moving in and dirt will start moving out as early as next week. Stay tuned for more updates.

We're just weeks away from breaking ground on our new library, and we're so incredibly thankful to have made it this far! We couldn't have done it without the generosity of our community. There are still several opportunities to put your name or the name of someone you wish to honor on a section of the new building, but all donations above $500 will receive recognition on our donor wall.
