If you live, work, or own property in Danbury, this is one of the most important surveys you can take this year!

We are updating the Town's **Hazard Mitigation Plan**, which is the official roadmap to protect our community against natural disasters like severe winter storms, flooding, high winds, and drought.

**WHY should you take 30 minutes to complete this?**

1. **💰 FUNDING:** Completing this plan makes our Town eligible for critical *federal funding* (FEMA grants) to pay for projects that prevent damage—like stormwater improvements or generator installations.

The State wide burn ban has been lifted! As a reminder all outside burning requires a permit. We ask that you use caution when burning your permitted fires during this continued drought.

Available at The Country Store, Gungewam Outfitters and The Smith River Trading Post.
The drawing will be held this Saturday night at the fire station at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.

Due to the current weather conditions a statewide burn ban is in effect. This means No burning allowed! All issued permits are suspended until further notice (this includes seasonal campfire permits).
