NBC Universal recently launched an Academic Year-long Internship Program for current undergraduate and graduate students that will extend from September 2023 – April 2024. While their applications officially closed last Friday, they’ve extended NBC Sports roles for BEA members through the end of the month.

WCSU's BEA goes to the annual BEA CONVENTION & National Association of Broadcasters NAB Show in Vegas! April 14-18 we'll be documenting the trip, sessions, and new gear debuting! Excellent networking event with 100,000 people from the media, film, TV, and audio professions, along with educators and media students!

Tickets are now available through Feb. 15th for the annual BEA Convention & NAB Show in Las Vegas this coming April! A mandatory prep session will be given in March. Minimum 3 panels/day at BEA/NAB sessions (only 10 tickets are available, first come, first serve):

The 2023 Connecticut Broadcasters Assoc. CBA Scholarship application period will be open from Jan. 1 - March 15, 2023! Awards will be made for the 2023/2024 academic year. Criteria and requirements for the application are provided below. DO IT.

2023 CBA Scholarship Program
-Students must be residents of Connecticut
-Students must be studying media at an accredited college or university
-Application requires FAFSA, school transcript, and three letters of recommendation
-Application period: Jan. 1 - March 15, 2023
-Awards granted for the 2023/2024 academic year
-Awards based upon need and merit.
-Historical awards have ranged from $500-5,000 per student
-Applications are available at ctba.org
