The Stokes County Board of Education proudly recognized the Walnut Cove Elementary School Robotics Team for their outstanding achievement at the BrickEd Master State Finals Robotics Competition held in Salisbury on May 19, 2025.

🔹 Pinnacle Elementary School – Carrie Linville has been named Principal after serving as Interim Principal.

🔹 Germanton Elementary School – Jacinda Clifton has been named Principal after serving as Interim Principal.

Stokes County Schools invites parents, staff, community members, and stakeholders to attend our Federal Programs Stakeholder Meeting on:

📍 Mount Olive Elementary School – Library

This meeting is an opportunity for stakeholders to provide input and ask questions regarding federal programs and funding that support our schools and students.

Topics of Discussion Include:
✅ Title I, Title II, and Title IV funding applications and goals
✅ District Parent and Family Engagement Policy
✅ Proposed use of federal funds for the 2026–2027 school year

Don’t forget — the Board of Education Meeting will take place on June 1 at 6:00 PM in the South Stokes High School gymnasium.

The purpose of the location change for this meeting is to allow community members an opportunity to provide input regarding the disposition of the Pine Hall School building and property.

Public input will take place during the Public Comment section of the agenda at the beginning of the meeting. Speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to address the Board.
