Last week, our students and staff had the opportunity to celebrate and say thank you to our outgoing Interim Superintendent, Kent Hawley, for his three years of dedication to our DGS.

We are grateful for the time, support, and commitment he has given to our school community over the past three years. Thank you for helping lead and support DGS and for all you have done for our students, staff, and families.

We wish you all the best in this next chapter! 💙🐾

Today, our Cougars came together to remember the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. We wore red, white, and blue, gathered at the flagpole to say the Pledge of Allegiance, sang our National Anthem, and took time for activities about 9/11. 🇺🇸

As a school community, we remembered those who lost their lives, those who bravely served and helped others, and the countless people who came together with courage, compassion, and kindness during a difficult time.

Today, we remembered, we honored, and we taught our students the importance of standing together as a community and helping one another. ❤️💙

💙 Grandparents & Special Friends Day! 💙

We were so happy to welcome so many grandparents and special friends to DGS yesterday! Our students loved getting to spend some special time with their loved ones, make a craft, and enjoy a snack together.

A big THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for providing the snacks, drinks, and crafts for our students.

It was a wonderful day filled with smiles, laughter, and special memories. We’re so glad you could join us! 💙🐾
