🎓 Congratulations to the Project Purpose Class of 2026!

Today, we celebrated more than a graduation. We celebrated courage, growth, hard work, and the next step into meaningful careers right here in our community.

Over the past two weeks, these students showed up, leaned in, toured local employers, sharpened their resumes, practiced interviews, built professional skills, and explored high-paying career opportunities available in Northwest Georgia.

Project Purpose is about connecting local talent with real opportunity, and this class reminded us exactly why that work matters. We are so proud of each graduate and excited to watch them take their next steps into the workforce.

Thank you to our employers, speakers, educators, partners, and community leaders who helped make this program possible. Your investment in these students is an investment in the future of our region.

15 years of inspiring future innovators! 🚀

Last week, we wrapped up our 15th Annual Design, Engineering & Manufacturing (DEM) Camp, a STEM-based camp for middle school students across the Greater Dalton area.

From building hovercrafts and solar-powered cars to launching rockets and touring local manufacturing facilities, campers gained hands-on experience and a firsthand look at the industries that help drive our community forward.

We are incredibly grateful to Shaw Industries Group, Inc. for your partnership, alongside our Gold Sponsors, Engineered Floors, Marketing Alliance Group,Mohawk Industries, and Qcells North America, for your involvement in the camp. Thank you to our many other industry partners and volunteers who make this experience possible each year. Because of these investments, DEM Camp remains completely free for every student who attends.

We're celebrating the 4th cohort of our summer program as they sign onto full-time jobs! More on this program below, but for now, mark your calendars to join us at 9:00 AM at The Rincon Venue to congratulate this group.

- Project Purpose continues this week. Tomorrow, this cohort of recently graduated high school students will put their hard work to the test as they interview for full-time jobs with our sponsoring employers. This group has worked so hard, sacrificing the first few weeks of their summer to get real-world insights, training, and education that will impact the rest of their lives. Wish these kiddos luck tomorrow, and come celebrate them on Friday!!

- The Chamber team always takes the month of July to chill out and get ready for a busy fall. That means June is your last chance to network with us for a while!! Don't sleep on the upcoming Mixer, Netwalking, or Women's Coffee.

👟 Netwalking | June 15th
We'll squad up at The Mill Line Trail Chattanooga Ave. entrance at 12:00 PM before heading on a nice walk with our friends at Live4It! This networking event is designed to get your body moving while making business moves.

☕️ Women's Coffee | June 18th
