The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office is proud to introduce another “smart on crime initiative:” The Community Prosecution Unit. These positions are newly created and have not taken away any of the prosecutors in the courts so they can continue to prosecute cases. This unit is made up of five prosecutors and one investigator. These prosecutors do not carry dockets but rather work with law enforcement and public and private agencies to make Dallas a better place for all of us to live.
