Children and Family Institute is a licensed, non-profit faith based human services agency, in addition a child placement agency. We provide a hope and a future to all children and individuals. We embrace the spirit of parenting by offering support services to build, strengthen and restore the family unit. Pathways to Parenting Program offers free services to expecting mothers and/or child under 36

months. All Free Services offered includes:

Counseling/ Mentoring Services, Parenting Classes, Life Skills Support, Child Birth Classes, Area Resource Referrals, Participant and Baby Material Assistance. Come join us to find out how we can help you!

The Texarkana Children & Family Institute team recently gathered in Dallas for a special Congratulations & Shout-Out Dinner to recognize accomplishments, celebrate one another, and reflect on the impact being made in the lives of children and families.

What a great day of community, connection, and summer fun! ☀️💙

The Children & Family Institute’s Fun in the Sun event on July 17, 2026, brought families, community partners, and local vendors together for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. From engaging activities to great food, the event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, connect families with valuable resources, and celebrate our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated vendors for donating their time, our generous supporters for the food donations, and every child and family who joined us. Your support made this event a tremendous success, and we look forward to seeing you at the next CFI event!

Summer fun is even better when families come together! ☀️💦

The Corsicana Children & Family Institute team had an amazing time hosting our 2nd Annual Splash N’ With CFI at the local Splash Park. Families enjoyed an afternoon filled with water fun, hot dogs, and popsicles while connecting with our team and learning more about the programs and services CFI offers.

A special thank you to the families who joined us and continue to be a part of the CFI family. We loved spending the day with you and look forward to creating more opportunities to connect with our community!

During our Father’s Day Celebration at the Southwest Center, we were honored to recognize and celebrate the dads, father figures, and mentors who make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families every day.
