Hey Hiram,

We’re starting something fun this summer.

Introducing Flat Chief Stanley!

With this we want to promote literacy in our community, share the fun adventures of Flat Chief Stanley, and see the adventures kids are having with their own Flat Stanleys.

We have a Flat Chief Stanley at the Hiram Police Department for kids to come by and take pictures with while on their own adventures.

Oh! and we passed out Flat Stanleys to the other Public Safety Departments in Paulding County.

Follow along for the fun!

PCFR is pleased to announce the return of Tanker 7 following a full refurbishment and upgrades completed by the Georgia Forestry Commission.

This 1993 International tanker has been refreshed and enhanced to continue serving the residents of Paulding County with dependable water supply support during emergency operations. Tanker 7 is one of three tankers in our fleet, playing a critical role in areas without nearby fire hydrants and supporting large-scale fire incidents across the county.

Starting this weekend, PCFR is joining other fire departments across Georgia for the annual “Give Burns The Boot” campaign.

Among many programs made possible by the Boot Drive is Camp Oo-U-La®, Georgia’s only program held exclusively for burn-injured children.

Without the generous support of our citizens each year, the Boot Drive would not be a success. Visit with your friendly Paulding Coumty firefighters at participating local businesses on May 23rd, 30th, and June 6th.

Or, to donate directly, please use the QR code below.

Thank you for your consideration!

As we celebrate the EMS professionals of Paulding County, we are reminded that EMS is not easy and demands long hours, little sleep, and strong emotional strength. Yet each day you continue to answer the call with professionalism, compassion and courage.

Stay safe, take care of each other, and know that Paulding County is stronger and better because of you. Happy EMS Week!

We would like to congratulate LT Bruce Jones on receiving the “Service Above Self” award from the Paulding County Rotary Club! Well deserved.

“Lieutenant Jones exemplifies the core values of the fire service—integrity, courage, service, and dedication. His leadership, professionalism, and compassion reflect great credit upon himself and this department. For his unwavering dedication, his deep compassion, and the countless lives he has impacted both in and out of uniform, it is my profound honor to recommend Lieutenant Bruce Jones as this year’s Paulding County Rotary Club Fire Officer of the Year. He doesn’t do this work for recognition—but we can think of no one more deserving.”

Our softball team participated in yesterday’s charity tournament. We had a great time, raising money for some great causes!

Thank you to each player who participated and to all the support provided during this event.

We placed 2nd in the tournament. Unfortunately, we couldn’t come away with a win. But we did hear somebody called Sheriff Henson to report a crime after we beat Paulding County Sheriff’s Office 19-4… Better luck next time.
