WindSong Movement: Jumpstart

WindSong Movement: Jumpstart A nonprofit project for local musicians, artists and loving members of the community to work hand-in-hand with children living in DFW homeless shelters.

Founded in 2015, DFW Musician Wind Song, a formerly runaway, homeless & trafficked teen, has been calling all local musicians, artists, & healers to share their passions with oppressed & impoverished youth living in local Dallas shelters, as she knows from her own experience that these children are critically seeking outlets of expression in order to process the events that have taken place in the

ir lives as their parents struggle to survive. Through the support of local volunteers & activists alike, JUMPSTART introduces the practices of conscious breathing, movement, & expressive arts to children who are often limited in exposure to tools for self-healing. You are invited to join this movement of transcendence from suffering & celebration of life that takes place when we connect with one another through compassionate service~
