The manual is over 300 pages of material placed in multiple separate sections and attachments, and full of helpful information for homeowners, commercial property owners and managers, landscape professionals, and developers. You can learn about the new Neighborhood Forest Overlay in Section 10, find helpful landscape checklists for different landscape codes, and discover how to nominate a Historic tree for preservation.
The manual was drafted by professional landscape architects and foresters to provide useful regional information about local trees, soils, and other aspects of our community forest and is a supplement to support the Article X ordinances and to be informative to the people living and working in Dallas.
