Back Mountain Chamber

Back Mountain Chamber Commerce • Community • Culture The Back Mountain Chamber will help sustain and build upon a quality of life unequaled in many parts of the country.

The Back Mountain Chamber seeks to work in conjunction with many local groups, businesses, and area universities to enhance the quality of life in the Back Mountain region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Supporting the Back Mountain’s commerce, community and culture will be the major task of the Chamber, which will help to create an environment where people seek to live, work, learn and volunteer. W

Come celebrate the unveiling of our new America250PA community outdoor mural at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, June 29, at 1:15 p.m. next door to Cook’s Pharmacy in Shavertown. Guests are asked to arrive by 1:00 p.m. and the ribbon cutting will take place at 1:15 p.m.

This project would not have been possible without the generous support of our America250PA 250 Leadership Sponsor, AMP Global Strategies, our 250 Patriot Sponsor, Mt. Zion Material Handling Equipment, and the incredible dedication of our artists, students, volunteers, and community partners. We are grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

We are also proud to have been recognized in the Times Leader for our role in this inspiring collaborative project, which celebrates the spirit, history, and people of the Back Mountain region and beyond. We invite you to join us for the ribbon cutting and to read the full article linked below.

📍 The Traveling Sign Has a New Stop!

Our America250PA traveling sign is on the move again—this time thanks to our weekly sponsor, Devon Energy (formally Coterra Energy)!

While 's beautiful location is a bit more rural, they chose to showcase the sign right here outside the Back Mountain Chamber office for everyone to enjoy. And even on a rainy day, this spot looks absolutely stunning! 🌿☁️

A big thank you to our past and current sponsors: All Mechanical Service, , and now Devon Energy (formally Coterra Energy) for keeping this journey going strong.

👀 Where will the sign travel to next? Stay tuned!

Unexpected guests at the Chamber today! These little fawns stopped in for a mid-day visit. No appointment needed!

Thank you to Jim Roberts, Misericordia University Chief of Staff and Vice President of Marketing and Communications, for stopping by the Back Mountain Chamber office and dropping off this beautiful campus photo. Cougar Prints did an outstanding job printing and framing it, and we are proud to have it on display.

We appreciate the continued partnership and support.
