EducateDallas is a political action committee focused on supporting candidates for the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees who prioritize student equity in educational experience, opportunities, and college and career readiness. EducateDallas is a nonpartisan, general-purpose political committee committed to promoting quality school board leadership within Dallas Independent School District. We need high
-quality leaders who are non-partisan, servant-minded, and unafraid to make the right decisions. With that in mind, EducateDallas will support and work to elect qualified leaders to join Dallas ISD’s Board of Trustees. Through EducateDallas, our mission is to ensure that those quality candidates are elected and lead Dallas ISD to higher achievement levels. Our diverse membership touches every corner of Dallas, including concerned parents, business leaders, taxpayers and community groups. EducateDallas will interview every Dallas ISD school board candidate in each election. We encourage all candidates to participate in our interview and selection process to compete for an endorsement and campaign funding. We are looking for candidates that are committed to public education, open-minded with respect to innovation, and who will persevere in the drive to bring high-quality public education to the children in Dallas ISD. Getting involved and supporting quality leadership for Dallas ISD is a critical investment for Dallas’ future. Our children are capable and ready. Our school district needs to reflect these great ambitions and become the model for public education and the catalyst for recognizing lofty goals and dreams as big as Texas.
