Life High School Oak Cliff We offer strong academics and character training with the convenience of a 4-day school week.

Life School began in 1998 to serve students and families in southern Dallas. It is through the vision of the Founder, Dr. Tom Wilson, that Life School opened its doors with 15 faculty and staff members serving 266 students at the Oak Cliff campus. Since its inception over a decade ago, Life School has experienced substantial increases in enrollment. Testimonies from parents to friends, neighbors,

and co-workers have fueled rapid growth. Today, Life School has grown to nine campuses serving several thousand students. Dr. Wilson’s vision was to provide a quality education and give parents an educational choice regardless of a parent’s ability to pay. He envisioned a tuition-free school with the quality of an expensive private school. After enactment of charter school legislation, Dr. Wilson realized that a charter school was the avenue to fulfill this vision. Through the help of friends, educators and other professionals the charter was drafted and approved by the TEA in the spring of 1998, and the doors opened only a few months later in August 1998. The mission of Life School is to develop leaders with life skills through strong academics, character training, and partnerships with parents and the community.

Reminder that Picture Day is tomorrow for all 7th-11th graders 📸 Pictures will be taken during each students English period. Students must be in full uniform and badges must be on for Lifetouch staff to easily identify each student and make the picture lines go quickly. Pre-order pictures on mylifetouch.com. Reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Monday September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will have school on Friday September 11th.

On Friday September 11th, students may wear any kind of jersey and jeans for free as we kickoff the NFL Season! 🏈 No rips, holes or tears in jeans please! 👖

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Month, Ralph Sanders, and our Staff Member of the Month, Ashley Mayben!

🎉 Ralph Sanders demonstrates great social awareness by supporting his students and creating a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged. He shows love toward the students while moving them toward the goal of academic success.

🎉 Ashley Mayben constantly goes through and fixes many problems from attendance to grades, and she does it with a smile. She pushes through handling grades and attendance like a champion. She was able to clearly guide the staff through the processes of attendance and handling the gradebook. Mayben demonstrates exceptional information literacy by managing attendance and student information.

Thank you for everything you do for our students and school!
