Words can not express the emotions we are feeling. Please keep Officer Dodson's family in your thoughts and prayers.

Dustin Dodson, 25, lives in Cleburne, and he works for the Lancaster Police Department. He'd just finished his shift, and was headed home to his wife and three young children, but he didn't didn't make it.

According to a press release from the City of Lancaster, Officer Dodson was off-duty at the time of the accident.  It occured at 6:48 a.m. at US Highway 67 and FM 2738.

The phones are cleaned, sanitized, and equipped to be 911 cell phones. The phones are provided to victims of domestic violence and senior citizens at no cost.
