- Chair, City of Dallas Cite & Release program for misdemeanor marijuana possession
- Member, Criminal Justice Advisory Board
- Member, Faith in Texas Criminal Justice Advisory Board
- Board Member, The Heads Up! Foundation, providing after-school and summer basketball campsof or at-risk youth
- Board Member, A Chance for Change, rehabilitation center for women
- Implementation Board Member, Dallas County Pre-Trial Release Division
- Partnered with the Dallas County Commissioners Court on a range of jail intake and release process reviews
- As a fluent Spanish speaker, regularly handles please in Spanish in open court

Before working on the bench, Judge Mulder was a criminal defense attorney in private practice from 2007 to 2014, and she served as an Assistant District Attorney for Dallas County from 1995 to 2007. She has volunteered on numerous Democratic campaigns, including service as a Precinct Chair.

I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.
